Hi all, i have just fitted a new basins to my en-suite and down stairs toilet. hot and cold pressure in both are fine. gone to use the shower which is a mixer and only a dribble of water comes out + the shower pump does not kick in (shower pump is a salamander ct50) presume that i have a airlock, and the pump is in the loft. go into the loft to drain the air valve and the plumber hasnt put any air vents/ bleed valves in the pipe work. how do i go about remove the air from the pump if this is the problem? thanks for your help. :confused:

Why do you think that the pump is suddenly airlocked?

phoned salamander today and they gave the solution to remove air from the pipes and pump;
isolate power to the pump,
remove cover of the top of the pump,
locate black terminal block
conect SL and live via a piece of cable,
open shower,
switch power back on,
run shower for a few minutes on max hot and cold,
isolate power and remove cable and put cover back on,
switch power back on.

hope this can help someone else.

That method sounds like a Very Good Reason not to buy a Salamander pump.
