I am just about to change my burglar alarm system due to the old one being defective.
I have purchased a new Accenta Gen4 alarm with remote keypad. The original system (AJ600) had two external bell boxes fitted (which are cream crackered) so I have purchased two new AG6 external sounders with strobes to fit in their place.
At present the current external sounders are individually wired back to the alarm panel and not linked together. The wiring diagram for the new Gen4 panel shows the wiring of the two external sounders linked together. Can anyone give me some advice on the situation? Can I keep the two sounders individually wired back to the alarm panel or do I have to run another wire to link them?
