Hi there. I just bought a new house and am wanting to install an alarm into it. Anyone have any recomendations?? Wires for the PID's were installed by the builder so It can be a wired system. I am however not wanting to spend too much as i have lots to do.

Any help appreciated.

I generally use Texecom panels as they are generally very reliable. They are usually voted as Installers Choice each year.

Make sure the wires are in the right place for the PIDs. If the PID, when placed a the place the wires are, can see a window onto the road you may need to put new wires in otherwise cars passing by may trip the PID.

( as happens on 15 houses on a new estate )
