I have seen some fantastic cheap bathroom taps in Aldi today and am needing one for our new en suite. When I had the downstairs cloakroom done, the plumber told me I had low water pressure and needed a tap of .5 bar or less. I asked the manager in Aldi what bar the taps would suit and he didn't know, it wasn't on the box or instructions inside.

Is it possible to tell by looking at a tap whether it will suit low pressure? The one I have in mind is on www.aldi.co.uk/htm/offers/2867_5272.htm
If anyone could help I'd be really grateful.

Have yet to meet a supermarket manager with much plumbing knowledge.

Cheap taps at Aldi. Hmmmmm interesting.

Don't forget the old saying - You can buy a good thing that's cheap, but you can't buy a cheap thing that's good!

Can find no taps on that link, which is a home page.
Cheap flashy taps are nearly always high pressure use only.

Thank you Chris and Seco. I'm disappointed but at least it'll save wasting my money. It's back to the internet for me, the taps I've seen so far are very expensive. So thanks for the advice guys. :)
