Allotment?

Any of you run an allotment? If so, you'll be filling your kitchen with produce... we current have huge marrows outside, and beetroots ! chopping them up for roasting and pickling !! our kitchen looks like a battlefield hospital !

My wife grows some herbs in the garden.

We've just finished off my latest batch of beetroot soup.

we've had purple broccoli for that past 2 weeks !

The tomato's are still going, pumpkins for the grand children, sweetcorn now ready, the best french beans weve ever had,finished.
Spuds in bags for xmas dinner,actually,theyre going into flower because of the mild weather. Must replant some more this week.

Grew some rather splendid lilies this year..... doesn't count does it. grew some wonderful chilies a couple of years ago, but that's just brought some unhappy memories back

As any fule no, lilies is poisonous.
