It's happened! Small scuff due to kerb knock. Is there a Dremmel kit to polish smaill scuffs?

Same, wife's 15 year old car without a mark, I did the school run u-turn that I do every day in my own car which obviously has a smaller turning circle.

Still rehearsing my "what the bloody hell have you done to your car" speech for her.

Depends what you call a scuff, I would just live with it personally. A wheel refurb as suggested is normally needed.
You can get polishing heads and compound obviously but most of the time the scuffs are too deep to do anything with.

Leave it, there will be more coming especially if the wife drives it.
When it gets too bad you can get a full refurb done.

I guess it depends on the size of the piggy bank......
One alloy (turned finish - forget the correct term for them) came out at £180.........tyre off, old paint off, repair done, powder coated, tyre on and balanced.
Chipsaway do a fair enough job, leaving the tyre on.
Perhaps a photo would guide us further?
John :)

I paid £90/corner in Twickenham a couple of years ago for exactly same job.
Top notch!

That's a brilliant price!
All I can remember about the job I sent away - 19 plate MX5, Black coating with some areas shiny. Maybe that had something to do with the price.

Yes, diamond cute alloys (that's how I think they call them) cost more to refurbish, but I don't know if double.

How much are you willing to pay?

You can paint the edges at low cost.

If you're going to do it again (you are) it might not worth doing a super job.
