Hi Everyone.

Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations regarding the best company for alloy repair. I very annoyingly kerbed the front drivers side wheel on my new Renault Clio and am hoping to get it repaired. There are numerous UK based companies e.g:

http://www.smartrepair4u.co.uk/alloy_wheel_repair.html
http://www.wefixalloys.co.uk/services-and-prices/
http://www.chipsaway.co.uk/services/alloy-wheels/

Amongst many others. Just hoping someone has any experience with any of the companies, and can give me a recommendation. Obviously looking for best quality, durability etc.

Kind regards

Dan

I leave things like this in the hands of my local (professional) bodyshop, and they know who use.
Don't use the mobile units - you need someone who will actually take the tyre off, not just mask it up.

Thank you for the reply. I believe the company in the first link I posted do remove the tyre. But I will consider taking it to a local bodyshop.

Bodyshops of course handle warranty repairs on new vehicles - so it has to be good!
Nice car the Clio - how they've grown!

Thanks. I know, my current one is incomparable to my previous 02 model!

What do you mean regarding 'Bodyshops of course handle warranty repairs on new vehicles'?

Main dealers, if they don't have their own repair facilities, always have a good bodyshop to do their repairs - essential if the car is accident damaged but still warrantied etc.
You could be surprised at the amount of new vehicles that have delivery damage too!
John :)
