Hello all,
We've inherited an Alpha CB24 28 Boiler. Lived here 18 months.

Yesterday, I noticed it wouldn't "fire-up". It showed alternate, regular flashing neon lights. I checked and was concerned to see that the pressure was very low (approx 0.3 bar) So filled up from the loop, it's now 1.2 bar.

However, after many resets, power off-and-on. It still won't "fire-up".

Maybe it's a faulty Primary Pressure Switch? ...

thanks in advance.

Straight from the installation instructions

A and B Flashing on and off alternatively - System pressure is very low and re-pressurisation is required.

So yeah, if the gauge now says 1.2 bar, its most likely the primary pressure switch.

The primary temp sensor, if faulty will cause the boiler not to fire. RGI work inside the comb chamber.
