We've just moved into a new flat and discovered that our boiler is a bit temperamental. Both heating and hot water work most of the time but every few days it will continually cut out - red light comes on & orange one flashes - it does work again when it is reset but some days we have to reset it up to ten times!! We have had three plumbers look at it and been told three different things, so far none of them have got back to us with their quotes for work and it's been two weeks.
Any help would be greatly appreciated so we know who we should trust - as you can imagine just having moved we don't have a lot of spare cash.

Hello

Is neon A cont lit

Is neon B flashing

If so could be pump, hard one the other week turned out pcb was not giving power to the pump new pcb fixed it.
Pcb are not cheap on this model.
Without being in front of boiler ,you better off getting a RGI in to have a look

Thanks for the fast response, unfortunately I now have a fourth suggestion :-( I've never had to deal with boiler problems before - I just don't know who to trust!
All the plumbers were RGI's my husband tells me

If you mean the small orange light at the top of the ch/hw mains on column, then that is either a fan fault or an air pressure switch fault, which will need a RGI in rather than a plumber.
