my alpha cd25c boiler keeps cutting out and it has the B led on solid not flashing . I have had a heating bloke round as i wont touch boilers (not my trade) but he seems a bit stumped as when u reset it everything runs ok sometimes for hours or maybe only 10 mins . Alpha being very unhelpful as its now a whole 3 months out of warranty so any advice would apreciated .

A solid B indicates a failure to light correctly. This can be caused by many things and you should call in a proper boiler engineer who is competent with these boilers. Not possible to give a more positive reply, as several gas related tests would need to be done.
