Alternatives to Rockwool / Gyproc ie non brands

Hi,

I'm about to purchase several thousand pounds worth of materials - insualtion / soundbloc boards etc for flats i'm developing. Instead of paying a premium for the branded products are there alternatives out there i should consider ? i would imagine as long as the non brand goods have the same properties the savings could be significant.

As long as the products meet the same specifications and quality then the theory is sound.

We don't have a Lidl or an Aldi type alternative in the building trade.

What we do have though is the BBA.
