Hi
I am replacing our shower room basin and the waste pipe measures 37mm. The new pipes are 32mm and the only converters I can find are 40mm to 32mm.
I have been twice to my local diy store and come home with advice the part I supposedly need - apparently a 40mm converter washer will compress down to 37mm and be tight - it isn't!!!
What can I do? I'm fairly sure the chap at the store thinks I can't use a measuring tape and the width is really 40mm.
I have looked online and can't find a converter bend pipe.
any ideas??

Thanks

Karen

Mac Alpine do a multi-fit coupling that does just that ;) have a google

Depends if you are measuring internal or external diameters. If in doubt use compression waste fittings to connect.
