amp & speakers

Would anyone be able to know, in regards to a 2 channel amp! Is it possible to wire a subwoofer & 2 6x9 speakers to it! I know I could just buy a multi channel amp but I was under the impression they would be more expensive & I dont want to have to buy two amp's! Also how would I be able to tell from the specifications on the amp if this is possible or not?

i think it gets tricky due to the differences in the power and frequencies required to drive the sub and smaller speakers,if you intend to use a sub in the boot with 6x9s in the parcel shelf i wouldnt bother,the sub will interfere with them,better off putting some decent components up front and just a sub in the back,you will be amazed how good it can sound
