Can anyone advise re the best way to take up an Amtico Floor? We are gutting our kitchen and the new design means we will have to dispense with the existing floor. We also have one or two lumps and bumps that have appeared over time, so we need to level the floor before putting down new covering. Thanks.

The floor is concrete but don't know what adhesive was used as the Amtico was already down when we moved in.

OK thanks - we have found that they are coming up relatively easily, although leaving some of the hard adhesive behind on the concrete. However, we are having a new floor laid next week, in preparation for new vinyl flooring after the kitchen is installed.
