Hi all.
What do you LVT fitters do at door thresholds when the heights are different?
The difference is only about 3mm. The floor I'm about to lay on is highest. There is already Amtico in the other rooms but the new planks I'm laying next weekend won't butt up to the existing.
Is there a threshold strip available or is it a case of running over and having a small step?
Grinding the floor isn't an option as I'd cut through the epoxy dpc.

Any thoughts will be gratefully received.

Cheers. nick.

I try an get heights the same but if not possible then a nice door trim will do. If only 3mm then a flat sticky trim. If you do a search on eBay there is a company that do wood effect ones to match the Amtico.
On another note what DPM did you use ?

Cheers dazlight,
I'm using a threshold strip now.
I used F. Ball F77 as a DPM. Easy to use.
