Anchor fence post to brick wall

Yes. It HAS to be a socket as the whole head of the bolt is going into the wood; there will be nothing sticking out of the wood when finished. So remember the countersunk hole has to be slightly bigger than the outside diameter of your socket ' head'.

Sorry to bother you again Steve. Would you have any advice for me on how to make sure this concrete bolt goes through the brick? I’m having trouble getting it in with a socket.

Bolt is 10mm. I used an 8mm drill piece in the wall as suggested to allow this to be a tight fit, however I’m struggling to tighten it into the brixk

Many thanks
