ancient McCulloch Strimmer - Cant open head to replace cutting line

Hi
Inherited an old Strimmer , but cannot open the Head to pull more line out .

Any ideas ? it appears solidly stuck .unless theres a trick,

Right hand picture....hold the hexagon nut in a vice before undoing the hand nut on the left picture.
Some of them are left hand thread, please be aware!
It could be an idea to drench the head in WD40 or whatever first - there seems to be a fair bit of rust around.

still wont open- i see generic strimmer heads on ebay-will they fit this old model ( number 90) ? thanks

There's a very good chance that they will fit, but you need to ascertain if the bolt in the right pic is left or right hand thread.
