Is it for human consumption, or her dog?

God knows, wouldn't give it to my dog if I had one. It looks like one of the most disgusting creations ever!

It did remind me of some recipes for birthday cakes for dogs. I can see there's a time when someone may fancy meatloaf and a time when only a cake will do. But who comes up with the idea of combining the two? Only Heston Blumenthal comes to mind.

I can't really envisage any time I'd fancy meatloaf, that on it's own looks pretty grim, let alone topped with icing sugar!

Have we been reading the same link? That "icing" is nothing more than mashed potato , so this cake in reality is basically just a cottage pie .
I'd eat it. :D

I think we should just accept that American tastes are somewhat different to ours.

Have you ever tried their chocolate?

Yes hershey bars are the work of the devil, also you can't get cheese of any note, their "premium" cheeses, Monterry Jack and land o'lakes are tasteless, even American bread is horrible.

As for peanut butter, always buy smooth then at least you'll be able to grout tiles with it.

You're right my bad, thought it was icing sugar, still looks pretty vile though!

Note that it is still laced with garlic to mask the taste of cheap ingredients.

British food is like anywhere else. The good stuff is good - and the bad stuff is bad. Worst food I've had in a few years was on holiday in France. And I never know why people go on about American steaks. Every steak I've ever had in the States was watery, tasteless crap.
