Anderton 3 in 1 foil lining paper?

Has anyone used this foil for their walls? It is supposed to be an effective treatment against damp. We have used this, put lining paper over & then wall paper & there are loads of creases throughout wall paper. The adhesive for the foil was a special one & very difficult to spread. Just wondering if anyone has any experiences or tips as to what do to with creases/bubbles.
