Android Tablet Problem

when I go to compose an email in Yahoo, when I tap on the compose icon it just flashes between the keyboard and the screen. Any ideas ?

It's like you're hitting ESC on any other device. Try pressing all the volume/lock buttons on the tablet, they could be sticky?

Its had its cache cleared
Screens been cleaned
Been rebooted
none off the buttons is semi pressed
keyboard works for other things

If it was mine, I'd get everything off it that that I want/need off it and do a factory reset.

Is there a wi-fi/bluetooth enabled physical keyboard nearby, which might be causing the tablet confusion as to whether or not it should be using the virtual keyboard?

Could be the keyboard you're using reacting badly with yahoo. Go into the settings and check if you're using the Google standard keyboard.
