angle grinder

i have a small angle grinder with metal discs, can i get small discs to enable me to cut wood skirting

yes, its called a circular saw

but no you cant get a disc that fits an angle grinder that is for the purpose of cutting timber.

its just i need to cut a skirting from behind rad pipes to remove and replace with new. May have to stitch drill it i guess

you would be better getting a bosch pmf180 mutii tool though http://www.bosch-do-it.co.uk/boptoc...vision=hw&origin=submit&search_query=pmf 180, would give a neater cut and would be of use for other projects ( or you could wat until september and get the new cordless version

You could use an arbortech disc, available from Axminster power tools..

Not exactly the most accurate tool in the world for cutting a straight line

if you're replacing it with new just chop it with an inch wood chisel if you don't have a mallet use a lump hammer to hit the chisel.

thanks, ended up drilling where it was behind pipes and a bit of force with a chisel, all out now!
