Angled cooker hood. What height?

    Hi

    What height would you recommend an angled cooker hood to go above a halogen hob?

    Cant see anywhere in the instructions regarding height

    Usually around 650 mm - depends on how it lines uo wit adjacent units as there's no legal minimum.

    Bit surprised there's no manufacturer's recommendation though

    Put it sufficiently high that you cannot possibly bang your head on it while leaning over a pan.

    It's one of the excuses used by people who like smelly kitchens, not to have an extractor.

    What brand ? Model?
    Just help fit one and base was sitting just about ready made glass splash back which I think was around 750mm high.

    Splashback is 500 & upstand is 100 so the bottom is fitted 600 above the worktop. Happy with the end result
