Another Candy Washing Machine problem!

Sorry Zipper didn't read your post properly

The price doesn't look too bad!

Yes it is fairly cheap as far as pcb's go, but unfortunately quality is often reflected in price. Getting an £80 pcb sent to Spain wouldn't work out cheap once they slap freight & import tax onto it. What are tradesman's rates like out there? It may be just as cheap to get a Spanish engineer to do the job for you. I'm sure you'd be able to get a free quote someplace? Then you could weigh up your alternatives about the best way to proceed. It isn't a big job to change a pcb.

Hi Zipper, Thanks for all the help.

If I can find the part, there will be no problem getting it brought out to Spain, the family and friends are always coming and going.

Also,as this is a UK machine I don't know if the part will be readily available in Spain.

So do you know of anyone in the UK that repairs faulty modules or have you got a link to a parts supplier?

Cheers

This UK company repairs defective pcb's http://www.emwelec.co.uk/index.php?action=item&id=261&prevaction=category&previd=2&prevstart=0
They don't repair every kind of module so it would be wise to contact them first with the full model details for a quote...if you decide to go down that road.
This is your pcb http://www.espares.co.uk/parts?k=49017644 If you buy a new one someplace else be sure to specify you need a pre-programmed type (this one is). I would also change out the NTC regardless, they are very cheap http://www.espares.co.uk/part/washi...107/0/0/670895/washing-machine-ntc-probe.html
You ought to be able to track down spares in Spain using the part numbers above. I would imagine the only difference between a Spanish GO482/2-80 & one bought in the UK is likely to be the mains plug & user language on the control panel. It might be an idea to shop around for a free repair quote locally before going to all the trouble of sourcing spares in the uk, but that's just my two cents.
Good luck whichever way you decide to go :D
