I have recenly replaced my old extract fan in the downstairs toilet with a new fan as the old stopped working
I have a Black (BL) - Grey with a piece of brown tape (GB) - and brown (BR)
i have assumed BL=Neutral, GB (switch live), BR (live) but, that turned the fan on, when the lights went off.
so i currently have it wired as BL-N BR-SL GB-L
it comes on when the lights are on and off when the lights are off, no overrun
here are pictures of the current set up including the existing light switch, any advice on how yu think it should be connected. THere is no isolator but the lights have their own circuit on the distrubution board so can be aislated easily from there
