Another frozen condensate pipe..........32mm lagging?

Hi

My 32mm condensate pipe is frozen solid, is it possible to get suitable lagging for this pipe, if so where from?

does it matter what size pipe os used for the condensate?


is smaller better and less likely to freeze if lagged or 32mm lagged?

Mine is also 32mm and fully lagged still froze solid.Come to conclusion lagging does sweet FA in this weather...
 
it is extreme weather so yeah it wont make alot of difference, but you can try your best
 
Just redirect it into a bucket in the freezing weather.

Simple, costs nothing, extremely reliable.

And does not damage the environment.

Perhaps simond should add not all boilers are safe to run with the condensate disconnected.

Best to check the mi first. ;)
 
True, there are a very small number built with no traps.

A Kidd for starters. See a lot of these in a bucket though.......
