You are now the government, you want to ban non-stun halal slaughter of animals. But you want to allow Kosher non-stun slaughter. What could possibly go wrong with blatantly discriminating against one religion over the other?

Or you ban all Kosher meat in the UK, what could possibly go wrong?

Nope, it needs a cross party consensus, otherwise if Labour suggest it then Reform/Tories will claim it's anti freedom!
If Reform/Tories suggest it then it'd be treated as anti Muslim.

But Reform don't do consensus, the Tories are in full rejection mode for anything Labour suggest and Labour are too unpopular already to pick a fight over something so unimportant.

That would be humanely stunned supermarket branded halal, you are complaining about and 'find difficult to avoid. Is it the prayer that makes it taste funny to you? How do you taste the difference?
