Another 'which boiler' question

This is the third one:

Attend site and protect areas to be worked in with cotton twill dustsheets.
Isolate gas, water, and electrical supplies to existing Saunier Duval combination boiler.
Drain heating system.
Remove existing wall hung combination boiler.
Flush heating system with chemical cleaner.
Supply and fit new wall mounted boiler, in existing boiler position, altering pipe work to suit.
Supply and fit Thermostatic Radiator Valves (TRV’s) on all but bathroom and hallway radiators.
Fill and vent system adding suitable corrosion inhibitor.
Test and commission boiler.
Fill out warranty forms.
Register installation with The Gas Safe Register.
Clear rubbish generated by works and leave site tidy.

Worcester Greenstar 28i Junior (2 Yr Warranty)£1979.87

Worcester Greenstar 29CDI Classic (5 Yrs Warranty)£2092.42

Baxi Duo-Tec 28HE (7 Yrs Warranty)£1839.00

Baxi Platinum 28HE(10 Yrs Warranty)£1997.00

NOTES

Approximate duration of works: 1/2 days.

With all new boiler installations we would recommend the fitting of a permanent ‘Magna clean’ filter just under the boiler.
This can be supplied for an extra material cost of £87.00. Fitting would, of course, be free of charge.

Upgrading to a Programmable Wireless Room Thermostat will cost £65.00

Making good will be carried out around the flue hole.

New pipe work and making good will be left ready for decoration.

I've read a few recommendations that say avoid BG at all costs but independents with good reviews (found them on Which? Local) aren't much cheaper.

Thank you.

I do have to say that my view is that an Intergas is a better boiler.

Probably a little cheaper that the Worcester too!

The quality & integrity of the installer should be your main concern.

Length of warranty does not dictate the quality of the boiler.

Avoid Worcester & certainly their Junior model.

The most robust & efficient boiler you have mentioned is the Intergas but its not the prettiest.

Vaillant are a big brand, make decent products but you are paying extra for the Brand name just like you do with Apple products.

Baxi make an ok boiler.

The whole life costs of a boiler should be considered, the Intergas will out live them all & also has alot less chance of breaking down with its simplistic brilliant design.

The Intergas would be a prudent choice...
