hi guys I have a few of these at home ansell carina security lights 10w with pir, just asking is there any way to disable the pir so it on from dusk till dawn, I just looked under the pir all I see is timer and night to daylight logo, with replace it or use a day night switch is there any way round it

The units are always an integrated PIR + Photocell. So, You will need to get a separate photocell and wire it in to the light itself, bypassing the PIR.

Some makers lights bring the lamp connections out to a terminal block. Post a pic of the wiring at the back of the light.

Not sure if clear enough to see

I suspect it could be a pre-wired 3C flex jobbie and that’s the only terminal block available.

I could be wrong

See how I get on tomorrow, but might be easier to just replace both, but I will have a go, going dark now here

The only terminal block we can see is the one in the Wiska box which someone has screwed to the wall behind one of the lights.

Some lamps you can change what it does by switching the supply off/on, I know I can set mine by doing that, however after every power cut it returns to default of PIR activated.
