Ants!

Ok - I know it's not really a diy question, but has anyone tried one of those plug in bug deterents such as "Pest Offense"? It plugs in and claims to work through your wiring to drive pests out!
We're being plagued by ants already, or does anyone have any other (non-chemical) ways to get rid of ants?

I was successful by putting cider vinegar(cheap in the supermarket) into little trays such as those foil ashtrays or even an old lid of a jar. It worked for me.

Get a can of lager and two tea spoons of sugar.
Lay the sugar in a thin line where you think the ant run might be.
Now sit in a comfy chair and drink the lager while you watch their shennanigans!
