Hi

I am in the process of making a light for the home that uses OSRAM LED's and the LED's required a regulator power supply to drive them. From what I can see the Power supply does not come with a plug fitted. I would imagine that they would normally be wired into the lighting circuit but I can't see why it could not be used from the 13A supply?

Details of the PSU..

Size: 220mm x 47mm x 44mm
Output voltage: 24V
Input voltage: 198 - 254 V
Input frequency (AC): : 0 / 50 / 60 Hz
Output power: 75 Watt

The question is, Would I be OK to wire a plug on to this supply? Does it need to be checked by anyone?
Thanks

You can attach a 13A plug via a short flex, 1 or 0.75mmsq cable should be good for the job with a 3A fuse in the plugtop. There's no law stipulating you must have plugs wired and/or checked by an electrician, so if you're happy with doing the work then by all means go for it.
