Current combi boiler has packed-in. I'd be replacing with a 24kw combi. It's a small, 3-bed, one downstairs-bathroom property. No-one is on low income or benefits or vulnerable etc.

I see that there are grants available for replacing with heat-pump systems but this isn't going to happen tbh. I want the least amount of mess and disruption as possible. Simply, like for like or thereabouts.

I was going to go for Baxi but my gas chap has suggested / recommended Atag. They seem to have good reviews and warranty. Any reason not to?

Through in my thoughts
Ask 10 people get 10 different answers of boiler recommendations.
We are nursing our 20 year old baxi combi on..
You could go on baxi website or Worcester website and look for local registered installers and get quote. That's my plan.
That should be a few hundred pounds less than boxt boiler site with any luck.
If you want a interest free plan go with boxt.
Boilers come with 10 year parts and labour warranty now so any of the known manufacturers will do the job imo but I'm not a heating engineer.
.
As for grants.
Maybe if you are on benefits.
Heat pump wouldn't be my choice as a great space taker and cost too much even with grant

Go for Baxi or Main.
Products basically the same just the length of guarantee.
Good for spares, technical backup and warranty work
