We will have a 2 - 3 foot wall (high) and 2 metres long to stop the kids falling off the edge plus need a screen for privacy from neighbours who we share the drive with as well as safety factor. But also want light to come through as gets evening sunshine. Thought trellis might be the answer - on top of wall. But would love some ideas. If go down trellis route, whats the best wood to use. Can get quite windy and wet on the corner.

If you use trelliss, i'd build my own out of decent gear especially if windy, grow some climbers over it, scented.
Maybe some light steel fancy rails? i suppose cost comes first.
