At my wits end - have a burnt out G9 bulb in a fixture and I cannot pull it out for the life of me. I’ve tried wiggling, I’ve tried with rubber gloves and can’t get it to come out no matter how hard I pull. Does anyone have any tips for getting it out?

It’s the only bulb in a fairly dark hallway so I’m looking at having to replace the whole fixture if I can’t get it out unfortunately. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

If it's that difficult to remove, something has already been damaged, and even if it can be removed it's unlikely you can just put a new one in.

A new fitting would seem the most likely result. Preferably one that does not use G9 or similar lamps.
