Anyone in East London/South East essex with a lathe?

I am in London E11, trying to fix a plumbing problem in an old house. the main stopcock has a half-inch brass spigot, that is just too big to fit a modern 15mm connector.

Is there anyone that could turn it down for me? I have removed and cleaned the spigot
