...it would cost on average to have the following work done. It's for a 2 bed mid-terrace with 7 radiators.

ELECTRICIAN

1. Ring main, disconnect electric cooker, new sockets.
2. New lights, kitchen, staircase.
3. New extractor hood in kitchen, wired in.

CORGI

1. Disconnect living room fire.
2. Disconnect old boiler.
3. Install combi boiler.

PLUMBER

1. Remove toilet, sink, bath
2. Remove hot water tank/cold water tank/airing cupboard plumbing.
3. Install toilet, sink, bath, shower cubicle, shower.

PLASTERER

1. Airing cupboard debris/wall behind where it was.
2. Living Room chimney brest, after gas fire removed.
3. Bathroom tile wall.
4. Small holes in wall, living room.

TILING

1. Bathroom
2. Kitchen

FLOORING

1. Laminate floor, living room.
2. Laminate tiles, kitchen, bathroom.
3. New carpet, staircase, landing.

CORGI
To fit new combi boiler in place of open vented system about £1200 - £1600 plus boiler cost.

PLUMBER

Conversion from cylinder system to combi covered in boiler install.

Fit new bathroom about £300-£600 plus cost of barthroom.

PLASTERER

About £12-£25 per square m.

TILING
About £20-£30 per m² plus tiles and adhesive.

FLOORING

About £5-£15 per m² plus cost of laminate flooring.

About £2-£6 per m² plus cost of carpet at about £10-£30 per m².

5-9K depending on area, Sizes etc. Thats just labour and essential bits and bobs.

My best guess anyway.

I would rather have a plumber remove the tanks and covert bathroom to mains water than corgi guy.

Get a few quotes for each trade.
 
herbs72, wouldn't like to quote without a closer look but thanks for the oppotunity.

Please try to get a condensing boiler with a five years warentee and one with weather temperature compensation, also if its to be conected to an old system a Magnaclean is a very worthwhile investment, especially if the Manufacturer has to attend in the later years of the warrentee.
