Anyone know who made these

you will have to check the wiring centre, if you have the relay box that I mentioned earlier those wont work, if you have the relay box the heads are motor open motor close, those heads are motor open spring close

I don't think there is a relay box the wires go from the actuator to a large plastic junction box where there electrical connectors, hpe this helps
 
Bob, what are the zone valve cable colours, perhaps blue, orange, yellow and white?

When the valve needs to open, yellow wire goes live, valve motors 90 degrees and drive is interrupted by internal switch. When valve needs closing, mains voltage is removed from yellow wire to white wire
If valve wires are as suggested, you will have a relay box somewhere

SZ valve will replace above described valve
