While I agree with broad sentiments above, but to say a steamer is cheaper to run ( when you factor in the running costs AND repairs AND getting someone whose skill base extends beyond replacing a thermocouple- by the way have seen some botch up that too), the Ideal lump is akin to brick outhouse
