I'm not saying it's good, but here's ours. Anyone else done it yet?

Personally I'd have stood it up, I always find xmas trees look silly on their side like that...

Is it rawlbolted to the wall :?:

Don't talk to me about Christmas tree, I'm sick of them

Delivered over 520 trees so far

That all?

I'm gonna so get stick for this - I've edited the photo & saved it vertical, but cannot seem to post the edited image up here...

Ours goes up 1st Dec but comes down day after Boxing day. This gives a decent break between Christmas and our Daughters birthday Jan 7th. Works for us ;-)

Cheers

Richard

Is it up yet????

Ours went up start of the last week in November ... My little pirahna is Santa's little helper

Flooring the attic and installing a ladder was a BAD idea ... Its all too accessible now ... A couple of traps required methinks

Nay nonny no, not here. Mrs H won't allow that kind of frivolity until the time is almost upon us. I reckon it'll be the friday before Christmas this year - 21st December.

I'd like to have the house decorated now, but although She's only 7 stone and I'm more than twice Her body weight, She doesn't appear to recognise that, believe me - it ain't worth the row.

Still, I can look at the Secure's tree anytime I need a fix.

Thanks.

Hmmmm, call it bad planning if you like, but we have the eldest's on Boxing Day, and the youngest's on New Year's Day.

January is not a good month for my wallet.

Simon, how old are the lights on that tree? Have they been PAT'd? And how olds the tree? 8)

I wish that I was up to posting photographs - I would show you what a decorated tree should look like. Nothing to do with me, I don't get to touch the tree or the decorations. I do, however, keep testing the chocolate novelties to make sure that they don't go off - they do - 2 at a time!

The lights are 5 years old. No, not tested!!

And the tree me and Mrs Secure bought on our first Christmas together (1997) from Woolies in Brixton!

Nope I've studied the pic over and over again and cant see anything unusual about that branch of the tree on the right hand side that you've highlighted, go on give us a clue.

no cd's (Christmass deccies) in this house till after the 16th.

first we celebrate my eldest sons birthday, then bring on Christmass.

We don't put ours up until the kids break up from school, I've made a start on the christmas booze though :D
