Does anyone recognise this display?

I must have done something and it's permanently on screen but it's in the way of the +- area of windows so I want to remove it.
Only I cannot remember how I put it there.

Any suggestions please??

Likely to be the graphics card software on your PC.
Try pressing Alt + R or Alt + Z to remove that FPS overlay.

Open device manager and show us a screenshot of the Didplay Adapters node and everything under it

Then open Task Manager, go on details tab and show us a screenshot of everything running under it

Alternatively, look for anything running in task manager that is named like it is to do with the graphics card; to help with this you can right click the column headers and turn on Publisher, which may then give names of graphics card brands (AMD, Intel, NVidia, MSI etc). Tell us the names..

You can also look at all the icons in the system tray and see if any are gfx card related (but also note that some editions of windows hide some tray icons; they can be turned on in windows control panel)

This may help us determine which software is showing that overlay and how to disable it. The suggested Alt-R / Alt-Z are nvidia ones, and a good bet to try
