Anyone tried appliance gliders for moving stuff across floor

Anyone ever tried gliders? I always struggle to put the washing machine back after getting it out, and these seem great...

My only query is, especially with the washing machine, is doesn't the machine slide about when its actually in use?

Put washing up liquid on the floor, the machine will be so easy to move, unless its on a carpet.
