Yes, watched it last week and thought it was really good, a bit strange as you say. I was drawn to it in the dvd shop because I am a massive fan of Apollo 13 which I've seen about 20 times. Ron Howard's direction is superb.

yep apollo 13 is a favorite of mine aswell.
obviously as its a fairly new film,a lot of you havnt watched it yet.
thats a shame was hoping to start a bit of a debate, never mind.

Too far fetched, and thats saying something.

But was kind of nice seeing the original clips.

Always remember my dad getting us to watch the launch, the walk, in fact everything. He was a avid "trekkie"too, but only myself got into an episode :D
We both got to Kennedy Space Center and saw the Saturn 5`s and the shuttle.

To all the knobs that think we never got to the moon...............you Anchors!

Do you mean Apollo 13 or Apollo 18 is your favourite film? I watched that film comparison thing on tv where they compare films to the real thing and Apollo13 is very close to the truth. Ron Howard said that when it first came out, he had one bad review in which they said that it just wouldn't have happened (surviving against the odds) :) :)

i was agreeing with squeaky about apollo 13 being an exelent film,

and apollo 18 being a new film that a lot of you havnt had the chance/or desire to watch.
