Apollo 30S Cuts out

Hi there

I have the above boiler, tonight I noticed the pilot light out, so re lit it after a bit of a struggle and duly put the HW on the boiler fired up ok but after about 3 or 4 minutes cuts out with no pilot light.

Have repeated this several times with the same result, nothing has been changed or moved.

check the flue from outside it is probably rusted through and recycling fumes which suffocates the pilot

Thanks for that Mick had a quick look and the flue looks fine, but will have a proper look tomorrow in daylight and a step ladder.

make sure you look right in, the terminal may well look ok but tube inside may not be so clean

I have had the same problem with my Myson Apolo 30S, the problem is the vent fan motor, fairly strait forward to remove get it tester, replace or get it re-wound.
