aqua boards

Hello again > another query .The wall in this bathroom is very chalky so I've bought some Aqua boards to fit all around the walls Trouble is every nail or screw that I knock in more plaster comes down> So I think I need help solving how to actually attach these aqua boards to the exsisting wall!!
