Aquaboard screws?

Because of the area they area being used they should have a stand time the can withstand moisture, I think it's something like a 500 hour corrosion test they go through.
So your standard Dry wall screws would not do, something like gtec aqua screws or maxi screws, would be best used.

I am assuming this is a wet area?
 
Why will they not sit flush with the board? I can see no reason why they can not be driven in flush. With a bed of adhesive any protrusions wont be noticed anyway...

I dont think it matters so long as you use screws that will not rust.

Screwfix do a huge range of zinc plated drywall screws ....

My only concern is that maybe drywall screws using a drywall driver might crack the board?
