I paid similar fees about 3 years ago, except that the structural calculations cost only £35 for a single storey extension and detatched double garage. Architects fees included Planning Application cost.
Seems reasonable to me.
£35 for SE fees? really?
It all depends on how much detail there is in the design but this quote seems about right including the SE fee.

What do you mean by building control plans ?
i.e. Have you been quoted for the fees that are paid on you behalf to the authority for the plan approvals (Building Control) and perhaps planning approval as well (if applicable).
Remember you will also have to pay for inspection fees if the works go ahead.
