Hi there, im hoping someone can help.

I'm renovating the house and have just removed a wooden frame with floral glass panels that separates the kitchen and the living room.

I am now left with a 4ft gap and wish to tidy it up. I was thinking of errecting some kind of archway.

I'm not very good at woodwork and was looking at getting a carpenter in. does anyone know what i should ask for and how much it would cost?

Cheers

Ask for a wooden archway and it will cost as much as the carpenter charges.

I think you can buy mess arches & then plaster it.
I made one from ply, was easy, I then tiled one side & paper on the other.
