We''re about to redo our bathroom and the current bath is 'caronite' so we don't really want to replace it but the shower/mixer tap on it is quite an ugly block. We would like to replace this with an 'H' type set, is this generally possible? Are the feeds to different manufacturers taps usually the same width/set-up?

thanks

Sorry, made a mistake, that was a comment on another post, the fixings we're looking at are a few hundred quid, not £70 but are they standard sizes?

£70 thats pretty cheap for a bath/shower mixer.
only get what you pay for if you want quality you need to pay.
