New bath mixer taps

Hello again,

Looking to buy new mixer taps for bath.
We have an mixer tap (two separate holes for taps) at present and I was wondering if there is a standard size width from tap to tap that we could get to fit or do I have to measure and try and find a new mixer tap to fit into the two holes??
