I need to buy a hose

I wanted to know: are flat hoses any good?

I've seen these on sale on ebay
They look great - and don't take up much space

For the same price and length though, I can pick up the traditional pipes from Argos

Which is better?

I'm tempted to go for the flat simply because it looks convenient

IMPORTANT: I need to use with a jet wash
Is it a bad idea to use with a jet wash??

Any replies would be great

Thanks

Omar

the disadvantage is that water won't flow through when the hose is flat. So you have to unroll the entire hose to get any water through it. You can't just unroll a few metres and use the hose.

I just one normal hose on a big hose hanger screwed to the house wall next to the outside tap. Not so neat perhaps but the side gate conceals it.

thanks for the reply
i think i'll do what u suggest

+ i did some searching just now for some reviews
flat hoses have really really really poor reviews

i'm happy to have saved myself some headache!

i'm confused now

i've searched on internet
hosepipe is relatively cheap
cart is cheap

BUT, buy a ready made cart and hosepipe kit and u won't get change out of £60 in most places (for a 50m length)

what am i missing?
the hosepipe would also have the other end attachments i assume - but i would assume that these are cheap as well?

i was thinking of buying this from argos:
http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/7203446.htm

but... i think it's missing some of the connectors - these i need to connect the jet wash

what should i do? where should i buy from?

thanks

That hose looks like it has the standard connections supplied with it

well... i need one connector to connect to the tap - i can see that in the picture
i need another connector (a standard one) to connect the pipe to the jet washer

are you saying the second connector come with it?

if so... great!
that will do me nicely!

let me know

thanks

EDIT: i just read it says "Includes tap and hose end connectors" - so this means it has more than one connector - which therefore should mean that the extra connector i need is included!

thanks :)
