I don't believe there are "Gods" however, if for those that do, it helps them with their lives, then crack on. I can see the social benefit of going to church to worship their imaginary friend, being there will be many like-minded worshippers all jollying along together.Gods are real enough to the people who believe in them, and not real to the people who don't believe in them.
